The WATT Community Forum set in motion a number of great ideas that will support the youth of Washtenaw County -today and in the future.  The Forum also brought a force of more than 50 people signed up and ready to help with next steps in focusing and implementing ideas in the five main priority areas.

Community Priorities for Youth Development

• Increase the number of Safe Places/ Create a teen center in Ypsi
  
• Increase the funding of Safe Places
  
• Treat youth as equals
  
• Build transportation opportunities county-wide
  
• Provide mentors; provide internships and job shadowing with caring adults
