NOISE PERMIT: The Ypsilanti Area Back 2 School Block Party
.
The FREE event, for youth between the ages of 14-20, will took place on THURSDAY, August 24 from 4-7pm Ypsilanti's historic Depot Town’s Frog Island Park. The rain date is Thursday, Aug 31, 4-7pm.
.
In addition to free food and beverages, the event will showcased a variety of talented youth artists including local bands, poets, DJ’s, Rappers and local Ypsilanti high schools drum lines.
.
Additionally, youth artists and entrepreneurs displayed and sold art and other merchandise/swag and many local youth organizations shared information and resources which promoted youth development, leadership, community service, civic engagement and success in school, at home and in the community.

The event was very successful and participants enjoyed food catered by Biggies fine foods.
