Youth Mapping Jobs NOW

Be a youthmapper with the countywide Community YouthMapping Project (CYM)! CYM is where young people ages 14-18 and adults canvass Washtenaw County in search of safe places to go, things to do and resources available for youth throughout Washtenaw County.

Youthmappers provide service TWO days a week (either Monday/Tuesday or Wednesday/Thursday from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm), are COMPENSATED for their time through a stipend, gain knowlege of local geography and MARKETABLE skills such as interviewing, data collection and entry, problem solving and so much more!

APPLICATIONS ARE AVAILABE NOW!!! Applications will be accepted through May 18, 2007. Interviews will be scheduled throughout May. A kick-off event, orientation and MANDATORY training will be held in late June.

Mapping is slated to begin July 9th!

Last year Youth Mapping was extremely successful with over 50 youth receiving stipends for their work on the project.  This year we hope to make it even better!!!
